Minutes of Club Meeting – 3 March 2009

RL opened the meeting and advised that RL/DL had attended the last
NHC meeting, following John and Ange’s visit last month.

Recent events:
Last Sunday open day at Preston HD.
Pontins rally last weekend in Southport – NHC attended, apparently a cracking do and a definite for next year.
TB advised that there were about 1200 there; estimating 1500-2000
for next year.
RL advised that the riding season will start officially again in April,
with the hope of a much better summer in 2009 than in 2008!

NHC have a swap meet at The Cheshire Cheese in Frodsham on
Sunday 8 March, 10.30 – 5.00. The pub is on the main street.

NHC Kickstart rally takes place on 4 April at Moore Rugby Club on
Saturday 4 April – stay overnight. Chunky Monkey are playing.

North West Harleys have their Egg Run on Saturday 11 April at
Adlington – pick-ups en route for those who don’t know where to go – see RL.

Sunday 19 April Ridesafe Rally at Blackpool – rideout from Tickled
Trout.

Wrecking Crew have a rally at Banks on 22/23 May (clashes with our Scotland trip).

DL advised on Scottish trip – hotels now booked and deposit paid by HOC.
There will be 13 people going in total – not bad!
First hotel for Friday night will be at Moffat – easier for those who
can’t set off first thing on Friday due to work commitments.

Next meeting Tuesday 7 April @ 8pm.
