Last rideout of the year took place last month – ride over to Yorkshire, great run and good attendance.

Autojumble last weekend at Stockport HD – very busy.

Rainy City attending Salvation Army Toy Run in Manchester on Saturday 8 November – all invited.
Meeting at McDonalds, Regent Road for a ride up to the fire station behind the Wing Yip for the start of the run.
Toys required in plastic bags, not wrapped. Run will be police-marshalled.
(post ride note: actually the marshalling was crap; the police didn’t do any of the blocking and it was left to some rather inexperienced people to handle, so the ride not as fluid as expected).

15/16 November – Hogfather (Southport) holding a bike wash to raise money for the Air Ambulance at their showrooms in Southport.

One for 2009 – Southport Cruisers having a rally at Pontins in Southport on (or around, tbc) 18 February – will be approx £12 for the weekend? Will confirm asap.

Baz advised that Hoggin’ The Bridge had gone very well and it was dry!!!
Approx 3500 bikes attending so would have been a good show, but in danger of outgrowing Chepstow and the meet at the services on the M4!

Bike insurance – Baz advised that if your bike insurance runs out while you are re-taxing, the system won’t let you do it online?

Deb asked how many would be interested in a trip to Ireland next year, 2nd bank holiday in May – approx 6 at the moment; will get more information and see what is available, approximate prices etc.

Rob requested any photos members may have of themselves or others wearing HOC Tshirts at various locations around the world to be submitted to Tony for inclusion in a special “HOC around the world” section on the website.
Deb to send special message to HOC Europe – sure they can help out with this!!

Xmas Do – raffle prizes now in place and band and DJ confirmed.
Balances being taken for the do – if you have not paid in full please can you give it in at the next meeting? thanks

No raffle this month – saving prizes for next time!

Next meeting will be on Tuesday 2 December at Sam Platts @ 8pm.
